Did the half-day tour for 1700baht and it was the best $50-60 I've ever spent. Feeding the elephants including two baby ones, sloshing around a knee-deep mud bath and lathering their bodies with mud, and jumping into a pool and swimming with them was one of the most spectacular experiences of my life. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience, and the elephants looked happy and well taken care of.Tip: Pay for the little bottles of milk to feed the baby elephants; it was too cute.read more

An incredible and emotional experience feeding, bathing and looking after the elephants. A must do for anyone travelling in the area, the owners are very friendly and they look after you very well as the accommodation and the food is out of this world. So if you love your Thai Cuisine and you want your mind to be completely blown away then you need to come and have a look for yourself.read more

What an amazing ethical elephant experience! You can tell that the staff truly cares about the animals, and it was magical to interact with the fun and friendly elephants at the sanctuary. I highly recommend that anyone traveling to Chiang Mai supports this fantastic organization! I hope I’m able to return soon!

This is the best elephant sanctuary I've ever had. The elephants are free to roam around and they are well fed and super happy. I had so much fun bathing, feeding and hugging the elephants! It's definitely a must go if you are looking for authentic and ethical elephant interactions. No riding nor chaining can be found at all. It's freedom!

Most ethical elephant experience

Sooooo much fun today and I am so happy we chose this tour! We made medicine balls for the elephants and took them to feed them, we also gave them their treats (bananas) which they LOVED! After we were all full we walked with the elephants for a while until we got to the river where they were able to play and cool down. Following on from that we all cooled down together in a big lake where we gave them a bath! Cannot recommend enough!

The BEST experience of my life

OMG! They have two of the elephants can’t even walk because of riding injuries at another center, yet Elephant Rescue Park took them on to care for them even though they can’t walk them for tourism! This proved the love they have here! The lunch we got was delicious and even better eating it in such a beautiful location! While we were driving home they heard news of rescuing another elephant as they were so excited! We did a lot of research looking for the perfect place and are so glad we chose here.

Amazing experience.

This was a great 1/2 day in Chiang Mai. We were able to feed, walk with, and wash elephants. During the 5 hours, you spend about 1.5-2 hours with the elephants. The rest is travel, hearing from the guides about the park, and a quick lunch. The staff is very engaged with the actual welfare of the animals which is heartwarming to experience.
